Dick started reading The Urantia Book in 1981.
Now retired, Dick worked for 35 years as an electrical engineer on failure analysis investigations for a major defense contractor. He has designed and built a photo emission microscope and also has published on microfocus x-ray techniques. His accomplishments also include two US patents.
He was a presenter at Urantia Foundation’s 2016 Science Symposium. (Read the pdf.) His talk reviewed a new chemistry chart (outer atom table) based on Electron Quantum Theory and a nuclear chart (inner atom table) based on Nucleon Quantum Theory. These advanced and original efforts to better present and explain subatomic physics are made surprisingly accessible in his presentation. This work primarily relates to Paper 42: Energy—Mind and Matter.
Dick attends study groups in northern Florida. He is also an amateur astronomer and has built several telescopes with F numbers ranging from F4 to F22.
